About me

Immagine
I was born and raised in Trieste. I love Trieste.
Because of my family, history and proximity to the the border, I am part of the Slovene minority in Trieste. This has allowed me to be natively fluent in both Italian & Slovene from the very beginning.

I feel fortunate for being born in a city like Trieste, capable of merging the intensity of the sea with the particularities of the Karst Plateau. Joining East with West.
As a consequence of its geography and of historical events, Trieste is a crossroads of nations, religions and cultures.

Until 2005 I lived with my family in Trieste. Afterwards I moved in another beautiful Italian region, Tuscany. More specifically to Tirrenia, a seaside town between Pisa and Livorno. This change allowed me to join study (Facoltà di Scienza motorie at Università degli Studi di Pisa) and skating (as a guest of the club La Rosa di Livorno). Despite the distance I kept coming back to Trieste, to continue to be part of the club Polet.

I have long lived between triestini and livornesi. Livorno and Trieste have two things in common that are fundamental to me: the sea and being among the most sportive cities in Italy. Matter of fact, sport has always been the greatest of my passions and I have dedicated the vast majority of my life to it.

In 2010, after winning one of the most important world championships, I decided to stop my 25-year-long career.

In 2011 I became an artistic roller skating trainer & consultant.
